Okay midwest as in where? I get confused as to what is "midwest" and "central" because if you draw a straight line on a map coast to coast they are different. I don't try to extract a geological survey satalite to determine where that is guaged by elevation. LOL
"yeah I'm jealouse I wasn't there"What doesn't kill you can still make you walk funny.

I had this same discussion I hade with some guys from Canada on the Pre-Tour
"The term West was applied to the region in the early years of the country. In 1789, the Northwest Ordinance was enacted, creating the Northwest Territory, which was bounded by the Great Lakes and the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers. Because the Northwest Territory lay between the East Coast and the then-far-West, the states carved out of it were called the "Northwest". " from the wiki.
Yes in the current thinking Midwest does not make sense, but a couple hundred years ago it does.

Hahaha Yubney, your funny! I'm jealous too because I'm from the "midwest" and miss everything about it especially around Halloween time. Didn't even know there was a convention so just one more reason to be jealous.
