You can find tons of costumes for women, but aside from the ever-present witches and a few female vampires and the butchered women body parts, why don't companies make a variety of female masks/props? Just about everything seems to be in the male form. I'm feeling compelled to make my women props be skeletons or I'll have to handcraft something and would just love to have a decent ready-made female head for example that I can add to. Anyone have a good mask source for women? For example when I do my circus/carnival theme, I'd love to have a snake lady, fortune teller, magician's assistant mask. I don't expect to find exactly what I'm looking for but something that could be adapted. I'm so glad I bought my Spirit Zombie farmer's wife last year because I'd be at a loss for a female zombie head.

Most of the famous horror monsters and villains are male. We need more female villains. Walt Disney did it. Why can't the likes of John Carpenter and Wes Craven create some? How about the possessed Regan MacNeil, the female cenobite, or the Borg Queen? We could also use more generic female masks and props like zombies.

You're right very few female masks. They should do some more horror movies with females as the bad guy. Females seem less threatening so it could be scarier if done right.
You could also buy some of the political figures and do a Michael Myers on them, change a few things and paint them white, then add lipstick or blush in a creepy way.
Here are some masks I found:

DITTO! I was very frustrated with that too. I was trying to make a quick vampire lady last year and ZIPPO.

"Evil Woman" ..becomes a Witch! –

Sort of like if every "Evil Man" was called Frankenstein. Pretty simple-minded, huh?
And where does the ultimate control reside for the evil woman? Probably within her sex appeal, so until scary looking witches become a desired intimate partner.....it all sort of dead-ends in this respect..I think?
The dominate, evil male just scowls, beats his chest assigns his army to waterboard you (or much worse) and you know he is capable of hunting and trapping prey and you don't want to fall into this catagory in his mind, the challenge dictates action. The actions all daisey chain until massive evil is wrought..sort of like a few world wars we all know and don't love."My Insanity is well-respected, until they wiggle free and become a stringer for a tabloid"

We have a few really cool female zombie masks (most sold out, but shipment is due to arrive June 23rd. You are right there are not that many out there, but here's a few you might like from our site:
Pin Up Girl
Possessed Aida
Coyote Girl
Nocturna
We'll also be getting a full line of life-size female zombie props in August. I only have a few pics of them, but since it was so rare to find female zombies, we bought the whole line - 5 standing styles, and 5 seated styles:

Women are not scary I guess. I found a lifesize Vampire lady for my Count last year. But Harry my zombie needs a mate. (He's not into witches)
