I found this yesterday on Craiglist and emailed him, asking he would consider mailing it to me in Canada (NewJersey I think he is in). He seem to have a little attitude and replied he would not. I even propose to pay more for the stuff and completely pay for the shipping, and he still refused, it seem.
Would it be possible for someone from the us to get the props for me? I would be willing to pay for shipping, or even share some of his bounty.
Here is the ad. Of course, I might be shooting myself in the foot here and someone take all of it from my hopefull hands. Any help would be grateful

well offers to pay more for something and have it shipped are really mostly scams so he probably thinks you are scamming him.
I have a friend in NJ and will see if he is near there.

My advise is forget it. Problem with Craig's List is so much scamming for shipping. I was car shopping for the kiddo and found real fast posts for my area were NOT local, and on the communication with them they assured me of the "shipping" for a car?!
If it isn't local and seems too good to be true... then it isn't true. What doesn't kill you can still make you walk funny.

Most people on craigslist just want to sell locally / in person & most I'm sure are not up to standing in line at the post office or UPS just for a couple of "pocket bucks". So if you're willing to drive to it,that's about it. I've had stuff on CL that I spend enough time wasted in people talking to me about item, swear they'll be there in a few minutes & then "alien abduction" as i call it, they never show, no call & don't answer # they called on... I've had 2 items I went ahead & shipped, Told them to paypal me & I used a shipping calculator. One went fine, the other was nothing but problems, so I won't ship thru CL unless it's something i would sell thru "Flea"EBay. Scammers on CL are the biggest problem for seller & buyer, so sorry looks like you'll have to pass up on a good find.......
When you look in the mirror at midnight,....what looks back at you.........

Osenator I agree with these guys that you should forget about it as much as it hurts to think that
I am a Clist junkie and when I sell on there I am all about local sale/pickup and I am not to found of shipping items out unless I ebay post the item with a buy it now price and then the interested party can get it from their. Plus I think the seller just doesnt want to ship that much stuff.
Its tragic but I too have found myself drooling on items from out of town that are out of my reach. Its a punishment we all put ourselves through

Life is cruel sometimes (L). I did email him yesterday one last time, if he would consider shipping "just a few items" just to see, no reply yet (I don't think he will). Well, maybe if I can'd get them, someone here might. I am just learning Craiglist myself. I emailed 3 people since 2 months ago, he was the only one that replied. Sadly, it was a no go. Maybe I will only stick to local then.
