I recently was out at Yard Sales and I came across a whole stack of classic Scooby Doo VHS tapes so of course I got them especially since they were a 1.00 for the box. I have always loved Scooby Doo originals but I am not a big fan of the newer ones as much. Does anyone else here love Scooby? I think the episodes are also great inspiration for prop builds. I just finished watching the Salem Witch episode this morning and it gave me even more ideas Does anyone else find inspiration in the Scooby Doos?

I haven't seen one of the originals is years, but I loved them! Unfortunately, at the time I wasn't looking at them for prop ideas. I'm disappointed that I was so short-sighted.

Going to have to say yes to that.

This was on my 40th birthday cake.

Yes!! Both me and my man are Scooby fans. The original series was fantastic, and I still enjoy watching those re-runs, and even the newer series'....oops did I just admit that?
I also thought the Live action Scooby Doo 1 and 2 movies were really well done.

Find inspiration in Scooby Doo? We put together a punch bowl concoction for our Halloween party once & called it "Fenokee Fizz" in honor of that ep. when Scooby Doo, Scooby Dum, & the gang investigated a mystery in the Okefenokee Swamp. Also had a big tray of goodies labeled "Scooby Snacks."

So I guess the answer is, yes indeedy

Edited to Add: I looked on youtube & that ep. is called "The Gruesome Game of the Gator Ghoul." Took place in the Hokeyfenokee Swamp! This thread is making me get nostalgic to watch a few Scooby eps. when I have time later...

I've always loved Scooby-Doo and remember watching the original series when it was first televised. The newer ones I don't care for much, especially when they brought in that little Scrappy-Doo wierdo. LOL
I like the original series best and also the hour long Scoobys from the '70's where it was "Scooby meets the Addams Family" or "Scooby meets the Three Stooges", "Scooby meets Sonny and Cher" , etc.
    Those were great!

I am so glad I am not alone in this love for Scooby Deathtouch I love the cake toppers. Marie there are quite a few on Youtube so check them out and re-live it all over. I love when they mixed with the Addams family I have not seen that one in years.

Another Scooby favorite was the Movie Scooby Doo and The Reluctant Werewolf and even the newer Movie Scooby Doo Zombie Island was pretty good. Those were both great as well.
