Do a google search for "New York Fire Shield". That's the fire retardant that the pros recommend. You can spray it on directly, or mix it with paint. It's available in a quart spray bottle, 1 gallon jug, 5 gallon buckets, or 55 gallon drums. Although it's not cheap, I think the peace of mind is well worth it. It's also recommended that you provide a copy of your "Certifcate Of Flame Proofing Conformance", and document yourself on video, applying the fire shield. This will go a long way toward making your fire marshall happy, because by covering your own &ss, you're also covering his!

Here are a few sites that offer fire retardant. You will want to look into each different type for the surface or material it will be coating. There are some that are added into paint, for your walls and base coats. Then there are some you can spray on fabric and interior decorations.

Didn't one of the crew at Hauntcast.com cover the issue of flame retardant materials in one of the shows?
As I recall, they listed some really good info, so maybe the gang at Hauntcast can help as well.
