This Halloween I plan on doing a green screen Photo Op. for the TOTs.
I plan to have them sit in an electric chair with a greenscreen backdrop behind them.
I can then key a new "scene" into the final photo.
I would like to charge them (to offset the cost of props/decor)
What would be the best way to go about doing this? Set up an online store?
If so, What can be done to disallow parents from seeing another family's photos.
(Themeparks do this with a personal code given to the parents after the picture is taken)
I have already figured out the method for removing and inserting a new scene using
Photoshop batch processing. But How should I combat the others stuff?
It would be great to be able to do this every year! The Halloween possibilties are limitless!

I don't know! Can walgreens/CVS pharmacy's photo lab do this? The idea is great, but I just can't figure out the best way to go about doing it! For security and other reasons; I worry about the potential dangers of allowing "everyone" access to the photos.
The near-unlimited haunt possibilities almost outweigh the risks...Almost. I wish I could figure out how to offer each parent a personalized code so only they can see their child's photo.
My idea is to take one photo before the "electrocution" and one after. The parents can then, in theory, go online and purchase their child's photos.

Sounds like a fun idea. I've seen those lifesize standup cardboard images used at parties for photo ops. I do have to wonder however if parents would want their kids being photographed and obviously photos of their kids being stored on your computer somewhere. I could see doing this for a party of invited guests but really not sure if you'd get more hassels than it would be worth to do it for the ToTers.

didn't think of that. Damn. But I can still do it for a party, plus I wont have to worry about posting it online, or trying to sell it.

For a moment or two I thought of trying to do a "photo booth" with small photos as a give-a-way type of thing when I do my circus theme haunt. I thought the kids might like having a photo of themselves and a friend in their costumes. But then thought about it further and pretty much shelved it. I could be wrong and parents wouldn't think anything of it. Curious to see how others comment on this.

It would be interesting to get a simple random sampling on everyone's opinion. I'll look into that Walgreen's thing...

I frequently take pictures of my trick or treaters usually in groups. No parents ever cared. But I didn't post them online.
When you share a specific photo with a specific email at walgreens.com so they can buy it from walgreens. They maybe able to download it too I am unsure.
I don't know how many kids come without parents to you place but you could get parental permission for most I am sure.
