I'm starting to get the itch for halloween already!! Time to start planning my room theme for our haunted depot. Please tell me what you think of the website I put together for our haunted depot. I'm no pro but I would love to get into making websites!!

Nice site! I like when people include lots of pictures of the haunt Also very nice of you to donate everything to the local needy! Many kudos for that!

A few comments on your site...

The main image with the ghoul is really cool, but it takes up too much space. As you click around the site you have to scroll down to see your content. It gives the impression that the site is more about that image than the content. This might work for some folks with very large monitors, but folks on laptops or smaller monitors will have a hard time navigating around. I would suggest using the image as the first thing you see (a landing page) when you go to thehaunteddepot.com, then have an enter button below "Haunted Depot" that takes you into your site. From there your navigation items could be located at the top of the page or vertically along the left side. You could possibly shrink your ghoul character down and stick him in the top left or right corner along side the name of your site.

You should also consider not putting your text in an image and use HTML instead. The text is what search engines use to index the information on your site and if your text is embedded in an image, then search engines like google can't index it (and potential visitors can't find it in google).

Just a couple of suggestions. I think what you've done so far is good, it could just use some further refining to be great.

I have to agree. I opened the site and clicked on the buttons. Nothing showed up and clicked and clicked, then I thought, let's scroll down. Well, then I noticed the links I clicked. Then I was able to go back and reclick the buttons.

Yes, this is just a suggestion. Some fine tuning and your site will be top notch.

    Looks good.
Always scarying the YELL out of them.

You might want to use your own images and not those from other's websites. The Ghoul on your main page is a prop that Terror Syndicate made to hold his haunt sign.

You have an actual depot in which to stage your haunt? VERY cool, mes amis. Wonderful you're doing it as a charity event, too.

Your website is coming along nicely, I see. All I could suggest is what you already seem to have- lots of pics of your haunt including scare actors & satisfied customers. Best of luck!
