This year we are bulding a vampire castle for the TOTs to go through, but I cannot come up with a clever name for the haunt. We live on a cul-de-sac, and we've been talking about naming it Kill-de-sac Manor, but I would love to tap the creative genius on this sight for other options.

Not bad at all.
I'd drop the dashes so it looked like an old family name; Killdesac Manor.
You could also use Killdesac Hall as an option, or just use your own last name instead of Killdesac.
There is a "cul-de-suck" joke here, but I ain't touchin' it.
You could go with subtle references to funerary objects or the signs of vampirism, like Bier Court, Wasting Close, or to reference the cul-de-sac again, Drowsers End.
Court, Close and End all tend to reference small neighborhoods or clusters of residences. "Court" does the same, but can also refer to an individual residence, like Hall or Manor.

I like your suggestion about dropping the hyphens and changing it to Hall, instead of Manor. I also like the of maybe not being so "in your face" with the name. Something more subtle for the unsuspecting TOT!

I can't come up with a name, but I just LOVE the Count Floyd idea!!!!
It would be perfect for the host, a campy, non-threatening Vampire schtick.Wolfman

I'm going to steal one from our friends over at Rotten Apple 907 in Burbank: Vampmont Village, but you could change that to Manor, Hall, Close....

Thanks for the great suggestions, guys. I knew I could count on you to help. What do you think about Macabre Manse?

I think Manse Macabre would be not only more accurate in terms of grammar, but also a neat play on words - just one letter off from "Danse Macabre".
Neat idea, Shebear, do it.

so explain manse macabre and macabre manse. i never heard of either term, then i can have a better idea. what about something simple like vamp-de-sac? what street do you live on? what's your last name? could those pssibly play into it?
