I am thinking of subscribing, but not sure if it's worth it. What kind of articles does it have? Does it have any How-to projects in it?

I used to have a subscription, but I let it expire. There are usually good articles on different haunts around the country, and every issue has a workshop for prop building. There are always lots of great pictures to use as a reference, too. I found it to be a good resourse, but I got tired of all the advertising (same reason I don't get Rolling Stone anymore). There is another one called "Hauntworld" that is pretty good.
One can never have too many skulls!

I was wondering the same thing myself, I kinda wanted a subscription but I'm a ultra amateur haunter at best, so I come to this site for all my how-to stuff. But the mag does look like a good read from time to time.

I've picked up a few issues over the years. Sometimes hard to find in my bookstores.

I've been a subscriber for many years, & still current subscriber.
As of last year the magazine changed hands, with Leonard Pickel staying as Editor. They changed the layout for the magazine with much bigger full color photos & more in depth articles. Yes, the magazine is a valuable source of haunting information. It's geared from the yard haunter to the pro haunter. They even encourage readers to submit articles themselves.
Can always purchase a few back issues from their online store & decide for yourself.
