Jack Reaper sounded off in another thread about Smokers being discriminated against. I have to admit, I, myself, have been guilty of this during Halloween Night. At our place, No Smoking, end of discussion.
Most of us here, who put on a display, have a line-up down the driveway. We used to be able to run polls here on Halloweenforum.com, but no more, I guess. I'd be interested to know, how many people here object to visitors smoking on their property? It could get awkward; you're not in a "Public Place", you've basically invited people onto your lawn and nobody wants to look like a jerk.

I say 'light 'em up!' As long as you share...
Oh wait,... you're probably talking about cigarettes.
    never mind.

    I was about to say...

My place becomes party central with my neighbors on Halloween so the beers flow along with the inevitable cigarette.

    Not on my property!
If this was a concern, I would post a sign like this:

    Nope, they shouldn't smoke...

but I haven't had problems with it, since the one's who are smoking usually don't come up the driveway anyway

Haunter, love that sign! I'll be honest, I haven't seen one smoker yet, I think. Wich is good, due to all the kids around.

WoW never thought about this, I am as well as my husband non smokers. We have never had a problem with any smokers coming up to the house. I can't recall seeing anyone smoking around our area with their kids. Maybe they are just a little more careful these days?

Meh, uncool, only b/c you're around kiddies and the like. I was a smoker for 25 years, BTW. I did love it (I would still do it if it didn't cause illness...seriously...I was an "I love smoking" smoker) but after probably the late 80s (shortly after I started), I really pretty much stopped doing it in confined places that other people couldn't get away from.
