This was a church youth group's fund raiser and I came across a whole table of Halloween stuff!!!! I filled the box full of what I wanted and they threw in more stuff on top of that and they only wanted 6 bucks for the whole box!!! So I gave them 10 bucks to help the youth and got some killer stuff

My cat was checking out everything for me lol I love yard sales!! I met a fellow prop maker as well and told her about this site. I was surprised to meet a haunter in my town...pleasantly surprised!!

Great find! I love to see all the yard sale finds because you see items that we would normally not see like the great mask and the Frankie lights!!! I am already getting ready for next weekend to find more goodies as well.

I'm looking forward to the Decatur Baptist youth yard sale next month - it's huge, I think they raise something like $75,000 every year, goes on for 3 days and the last day the prices are totally slashed. I always find stuff at awesome prices there. Not a fan of churches or supporting ministries, but I can't resist this event. One of the few yard sales where i actually can't buy up all the Halloween stuff for $5, I get to pick through and be more selective. Huge section of Christmas stuff and of course all the normal kinds of things that we haunters look at and think, "hmmm, how can I use this in a prop?"
