Here's a few pics from my 2009 set-up. Please be kind, as I was starting from scratch for Halloween. New state and only 9 Tot's showed up. I'm going to go "all-out" with advertising this year, and if it doesn't pick up, I'm going to switch to a party. Our place backs up to the road, where the school bus has to pass everyday so I know the kids saw everything. Not sure why they didn't come.

Everything looks great BooBerrie. I really love the scarecrow with the jack o lantern head. I was hoping to do something like that last year but I never got around to it but every time I see that prop I love it so I'm gonna have to get my arse moving and just do it.

Hope you get more TOT this year.
As I was going up the stair, I saw a man that wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today...Oh how I wish he'd go away.

I love the display and you look like you were having a blast. The stones and carved pumpkins look terrific. I hope you get more ToTs too. It took me a few years to build-up my ToT numbers....

Very nice set-up! I loved that you were sitting in the coffin. Our first year in the house we only had six TOTs. I didn't have a display--it was mostly festive decorating, but it was definitely inviting. Now, even with a big display outside, we may get about 75. I even live near an elementary school and the kids on at least one of the bus routes can see the house, along with some of the walkers. When my daughter was in kindergarten we had a kid Halloween party at our house. I sent Halloween party invitations to her classmates. Most of the parents didn't understand that it was a Halloween party and NOT a birthday party! I just took for granted that kids went to Halloween parties like I did when I was a kid.
Anyway, now that the kids know you put up decorations they'll probably be visiting you this Halloween. Couple of signs would probably clinch the deal!Duct tape is a ghoul's best friend.
