I haven't been on here in a while. I missed ya'll........alot!!!! You see,....
I am a member of another forum, not Halloween related, and I won't mention it's name out of respect but I must say.....I clearly see the difference in attitudes of the people on that other forum site....those people are generally just plain RUDE, and condescending....even some of the moderators. Simple questions are sometimes met with insults and jeering. Seems to me that is no way to treat a fellow enthusiast.

I truly want to express the warmth and friendly atmosphere Halloween forum provides. Thanks to all of you who support new haunters like myself and not being so quick to sling insults to others. I really want to say how much I love this site and the people on it.

So sad to hear the experiences the other site has brought. It is true, there is always a compliment, help, encouragement to be found on this forum. It is by far my favourite online home.

I feel so fortunate to have found it as well.

I joined 3 forum when I found this one. Guess wich one I come too everyday? (ps: as the other ones, I went maybe 3 times and quit them right away).

I've noticed the same thing. It's unfortunate many online communities (not just forums, in my experience) are plagued by so much imaginary elitism and needless uncouth behavior. Thank goodness for places like Halloween Forum! Like Osentor, this is the only forum of the 5 or 6 of which I'm a member that I visit every day (actually, it's usually a couple times a day).

I've noticed that on almost all other non-Halloween related sites as well.....I think this is a rare community that stays mostly positive....I check on here everyday too because not only is everyone supportive but they are also an extremely talented bunch and I can't wait to see what everyone is working on too.....This is one of the few places online I get enjoyment out of others experiences whether it's creating a cool new prop, going to a show, finding something cool on craiglist/dumpster diving....You just never know what your going to log into.....I love belonging to a group of individuals that is as eccentric as myself....Welcome back!.....ZR
