A co-worker of my Father-in-law repaired his pontoon on his boat with some foam, then began welding the hole in the pontoon. A tremendous explosion followed!
The garage door was blown off the garage, he had most of his eye lids burnt off , along with other serious burns.
A haunt insurance man recently expressed his concerns as to objects carved from "Good Stuff" foam in a can, very flammable, he said.
I have never had any of it here.

Scary! We use great foam, but never have any flames in our haunt... will really watch that in future!
So sorry for him!

Sorry to hear about the accident.
I can't confirm the accuracy (like so much on the internet,) but I found a site that says the propellant in Great Stuff is butane. Yes, very flammable, and in this case, it was being collected in a closed space.

Yikes. I am always paranoid when working with fire, even just using a heater in the workshop.
My dad spent several months in a burn center ICU after an on the job explosion. He's lucky to be here... hope he recovers quickly and completely!

How Horrible!!!
I will say a prayer that his recovery is as pain free as possible.
