Sooo.....
I had this idea for this year, I thought I would try to make a half claustrophobla tunell, with inflated sheets on one side and a gorey wood wall on the other side. Here's the basic set-up I'm thinking of:
We already have some white sheets, so I'm thinking sew them together to make one long sheet and then make a 2 foot wide hallway with the gorey wall on oe side and the sheet stapled to the ceiling in a curved fassion so that it is closer to the wall half way down the hallway. The wall behind the sheet will be a metal wire fence, like chicken wire or chain link, that will house a leaf blower and a large fan behind it along with a powerful strobe. The blowers will be connected to a power strip so they can be switched on or off by an actor.
What do you guys think? Is it too much? Thanks in advance.![]()

I came up with an idea for a Blowerless Claustrophobia here: Blowerless Claustrophobia
"Well I guess they were wrong then, weren't they?" I-gor

2 things:
I would add a top or make the sheets in a tube type fashion. The air will billow out the sheets faster and use less air-PB
With that said I would stay away from the leaf blower do to noise, unless the noise is part of the scene. An old furnace fan would work great, blows lots of air and quite, or just a box fan

Thanks for the idea Scott! It looks cool.
Propboy- Good idea to not use a leaf blower. The sound would take away from scenes elsewhere (IE the dark intense hallway on the other side of the housing area for the leaf blower). Also good to do the tube. That'll also prevent tripping on the bottom of the sheet if it gets blown out into the path.
