Let me start by saying if this has been asked and answered somewhere else I apologize.

I have downloaded all of the previous Hauntcasts all the way thru #15. I burn them to CD using itunes and my favorites I keep on my ipod. Okay so I went to Hauntcast on itunes and I only find the old shows plus the Halloween episode (which is my favorite. . . the last sentence in theater of the mind gave me chills) I also found a garage of evil video. But where is the latest episodes? I went to the Hauntcast website and "downloaded" the Body Snatchers. But it was playing not saving onto my computer and it was going to take the extent of the show to complete. itunes never opened even though it is my default for podcasts and audio. I don't think it was downloading, just playing. But I want to keep it. First on my ipod then to CD. Since Hauntcast 15, I bought a new computer with windows 7. So is it me or is something different? I know the feed to itunes changed but the link takes me to the same 10 older episodes. Help!

Starting with podcast 16 (Booty Snatchers) is no longer available through itunes....You have to go to the Hauntcast website to get it.....Not sure if this was a change to get more people to the site or not....I admit I didn't go to the site until this change was made so I'm just guessing that's why.....ZR

I think when Chris migrated over to his new site the links Itunes had to his shows went dead he has since fixed the links. You just need to look up Hauncast on Itunes again and resubscribe.

No. That's what my problem was. I did resubscribe to the new feed and 16 is not there. The hauntcast blog said look for the new artwork. and I did. Plus I followed the link to the new itunes subscription from the Hauntcast website and it still only had 1-6, 11, and the garage of evil video. I finally got it from the website.

I checked iTunes and you are right, some of the episodes are not showing. I think it had something to do with the podcast plug in I just installed. It should be fixed today. Feel free to email me if you encounter anymore issues.

    Chris,

Maybe you or someone else can help with a different issue. I downloaded all the Hauntcast shows to my computer's hard drive to be able to burn them on a CD so I can listen to them while driving. I was using iTunes to burn the disk, but in a regular audio format the files was so large (thanks for all the content!) that only one show per CD could be burned. I was able to get 5 shows on a CD when I switched to an mp3 format, but that doesn't work on my (old) truck's CD player.

Any thoughts on the best way/format to burn the CD and have the maximum number of shows per CD. You know I love you, man, but I'd rather not have SO many CD's cluttering my truck. Thanks!

Sounds like it's time to step up to a mp3 player Rich...They come in many shapes and sizes and price ranges....AND you can use it to loop spooky sounds and sound effects at Halloween!...ZR

    ZR,

Heh! I actually have an iPod -- and a device to play it over my car radio -- I forgot all about it. I used the iPod to play creepy sounds in the bathroom last year during my Halloween party. Guess I'm just slow to adopt it fully; I still listen to CDs regularly. Time to enter the 21st Century. Thanks!
