I love gardening just as much as the Holidays and each year I spruce up my beds with random "art" decor. I built a coffin looking garden box so I couldnt resist a body unearthing. It sure gets 2nd looks as its near the road. Does anyone else have fun like this in their gardens to stay entertained?

I love it! I've been lusting for the garden zombie that Design Toscano sells, but the family forbids me to haunt our garden Maybe I could sneak in a buried skull like what you did....

HAHAHA see you just sneak it into the garden when nobody is looking. I actually am growing my vegetable oddities in this bed so it is fitting. I am growing these Italian Snap Peas which are green with red blood splatters on them. I am also growing red carrots and a few other odd vegetables like Dinosaur Cucumbers. In my pumpkin Garden I am thinking of putting ceramic ghosts and witches this year.

I always wanted to spread some fertilizer on the lawn in the exact outline of a human body, just so people could wonder what was making the grass so green in that exact shape!

We keep one of the gargoyles in the garden next to our front steps, the UPS man loves him.
We stopped checking for monsters under our beds when we realized they were inside of us

Love your coffin garden! I have a large gargoyle statue in one of my garden beds. I had two perched raven statuary flankin the entrance to my veggie garden couple years ago, but my husband said they were scaring the birds away. Uh, don't I want to scare the birds away from the veggies? Anyway, I seriously doubt they were scaring anything but him!

Cinders I love the idea of blackbirds! Once it warms up more I will be planting all my veges and I have been debating placing a fake owl in my garden to scare birds away. I never thought of using my blackbirds from the graveyard. I also love the idea of the gargoyles on the porch. I have been looking at getting one at Fred Meyer but I am waiting for the sale to kick in.
