    Hi,
For our Pirtate theme this year I would like to make a simple Cave. I'm thinking Chicken Wire and paper mache is the best/cheapest way to go. Has anyone done something like this with these products? Should I cover the cave with burlap then put the paper mache over it?
halloween is a super cool holiday.

I think paper mache would be too time consuming. Why not use burlap and monster mud, then paint it?

I used silver tarps that i had crumpled and crinkled to get that look and it was lit from above and I think it looked pretty cool for the limited resources that I had. I hung them from the ceiling of my garage and even made a hidey place for the cave monster. I only wish I would have let the tarps lay out more than I did to let the manufactuer fold get out more. Plus it looks better when dimly lit. I have a video on youtube BUT it is TOO dark to see anything...
