Today I dreamed that it was Halloween! Yes!

Actually, it wasn't a very fun dream, as it centered around the fact that it was Halloween night, I was going to a party/event, and I only had one hour in which I was supposed to make a corset to wear, from scratch, and all I had was a little fabric. That was quite frustrating, but it actually helped me along in 2010's Halloween plans. Upon waking up, I decided that I must wear a Halloween corset this year - but make it a couple of months in advance.

This isn't the first dream I've ever had about it being Halloween or the Halloween season. Surely, some of you have had them before, as well. Please share!

LOL well I didn't dream about Halloween exactly but, after looking at Halloween links, I dreamt the night before last, that my house was haunted!! And it was one of those dreams where I kept waking up and when I fell back to sleep, the dream continued with some minor changes. My hubby said "No more Halloween Forum before bed". Yeah right!!

I have had similar, 'its the night and I have nothing ready' dreams. They're just a bit stressful...lol

Usually when I have those its Halloween night and the trick or treaters are coming but for some reason I don't have my house/yard decorated and I have no candy for them...
As I was going up the stair, I saw a man that wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today...Oh how I wish he'd go away.

Thankfully all of my Halloween dreams have been happy overall.

They're almost always the same sort of dream as I had when I was a kid, and I'm almost always a kid in the dream, too. I'm usually trick or treating on my own as my friends aren't around for some reason, and I come across some really nice kid who's also been TOTing by themselves. We hit all of my favorite houses from my old neighborhood together and have the best time. The kid varies, but they always seem to have the most amazing costume. The "Tales From The Crypt" house from a couple streets over is always really vivid, including the guy in the Cryptkeeper costume who always used to sit motionless with the candy bowl in his hands, who of course would move at the point when you're so freaked out KNOWING he's going to move that you jump a couple feet backwards . At the end of the night, after getting to know the other kid and finding we have so much in common, I ask where they live, and if I could come over or if they want to come to my house some time. Usually, the kid reveals they are in fact some really neat ghoulish monster, and apologize that they can't visit aside from on Halloween night. Sometimes the dream ends before anything happens after that, but if the dream has some sort of end it usually involves us deciding to trick or treat/meet together next year, hopefully with my friends in tow so they can meet the kid.

Aside from that recurring dream, my other Halloween dreams usually involve exploring Halloween Town (Nightmare Before Christmas) or something taking place during October so there's some Halloween imagery but it isn't spooky beyond that.
