So, whats Mr Bills Thrills?

It is a charity Haunted Barn and Trail. His web url is http://mrbillsthrills.net

I've met Mr. Bill a few times at IronStock and KC Kreepfest in the past. He is a good guy and heard the haunt they do is good. It's not going to be like the Darkness for size and props, but they are only charging $13 for both the barn and trail.

I'll be there with my buddy. We will be in dickies shirtw with our haunts logo on them. So say hi to the guys with this on their work shirts:

omg omg omg omg OMG went to my mail box at lunch time (hate looking in there usually only bills) and there it was, an envelope with a return address from TransWorld and it says
YOUR SHOW BADGE IS INSIDE - OPEN THIS NOW!
WE'LL SEE YOU IN ST. LOUIS!

OMG OMG OMG is it real I was thinking as I opened the envelope, It is real what a surprisse never thought I was going to be able to go since I'm not a pro. When I registered I mentioned I was a home haunter and it would be a great Birthday present if I could go maybe they had mercy on me. I am doing the victory dance and jumping up and down can't wait can't wait. Are we there yet ? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?

Did anyone get some good deals on rooms so much to do so little time.

I got like 109 on Holiday inn. That is of course a day. Going to be there for two days.

I am so bummed, I can't believe after being so ecstatic at lunch time today and now a little low/high can't make up my mind. Come to find out I won't be going to Transworld this year, as I said before this year is my 50th birthday and found out my sister is flying into town and planned a surprise party for me. At least it was a surprise party until I ruined, told my brother I needed to reschedule my B-day dinner to a different Friday night. He seemed a little flustered told me he would call me back, well the jig was up he called me back and told me what was going on.

Don't get me wrong I appreciate and feel very loved that my family would do this for me. But (yes there is a but) am I a bad person to feel I missing out on something good that I just found out I could have, just to turn around and not take advantage of the opportunity just to do the right thing.

One thing that would make me feel better is if someone can tell me if TransWorld sent me a badge this year do you think they will send me one next year?

As long as you sign up again next year you will be fine.

why don't you tell your family to meet you in St. Louis for lunch or something. They would never know you are at Transworld. Whos bday is it? LOL

I was so happy for you. I bet if you were honest with your sis that you two could come up with something that would work out so you can still at least spend an hour or two at the show. That would be enough to get the experience.

In regards to getting a badge next year. You will be able to go. Both times I was upfront saying I'm just a home haunter and they gave me a badge. When I was at the show, everyone was very supportive of home haunters and most of them said that's how they started in the business. They look at us as prospective customers.

Soooooooooo lucky!! Please tell them to come back to the west coast ... boo hoo.
