I know I saw on here someone made a guillotine and where the head goes the kids had to put their hand through to get the candy, could be an interesting idea for you to use.

Some of the ideas I am working on right now:
Drawbridge at the gate to the back yard.
On my raised porch, executioner with ax and decapitated victim.
Victim being burned at the stake (no real fires of course)
Prisoner chained up in a cell.
I pretty know what I am going to do and how to do it. I will have to start going to some yard sales and thrift shops to find some clothing etc... that I can use.
The only thing with the draw bridge idea is I have to do it so it doesnt trip up the tots so I am going to have to work on that. Was going to post a picture of the gate from this past year but for some reason I cant. I might pull down the actual gate door so I can put up a castle facade at the opening. I will have to think on that one though. I do have a picture of the gate in my Halloween 2009 album.

Cool. I actually decided my theme a few months ago would be London Terror. I plan on having the Big Ben clock tower, I have been saving a couple of large enlongated boxes since Christmas. My tower is really going to be more for ambience or something to hide behind since it won't be to scale (think large grandfather clock size). I am also going to have a Jack the Ripper, Sherlock Holmes, Hunchback, Dr. Jeckyll/Mr. Hyde, or anything from that period. Currently I have been trying to figure out what I am going to do for antique looking street lamps. I do have a picture of the Big Ben clock tower above my desk and have been trying to figure out how to convert my boxes into the tower. Probably with some moulding details.
