WOW great score and work! I am always on Craigs list looking for freebies, but have never ran across something like what you have score! What are you planning this time for your Halloween display?
Watch where you dig... you may find yourself...

Assuming you're keeping with the piratical/nautical theme (which I love), what about a treasure grotto, like an underwater cave with a huge treasure chest just within the mouth. You could either go in the obvious direction and have something lurking in the cave, or you could do a misdirection scare by positioning what looks like someone or something lurking just beyond in the dark but with the scare actually coming from inside the treasure chest.
I'd also say add some more creatures. That great a resource almost demands 'big' things to be created, and some large-ish animals are perfect (as that incredible whale carcass makes very apparent). Of course, some sea monsters are always in line for Halloween
.
If you don't mind my asking, where did the blocks come from (as in a shipping yard, warehouse, etc.)?

Thanks
! Though now that you had me thinking on the subject here's another take-it-or-leave-it idea:
I was also thinking you could even make a big tiki like it sank into the ocean depths for some reason or another, and either make it nontraditional and creepy (more ghoulish features than the average tiki god) or a weathered traditional one and hide an air cannon or simple jump animation in some heavily carved out feature like his mouth. I'm imagining something like an eel or strange looking abyssal fish suddenly bursting from his mouth or out of a hollow eye. If you do some sort of ship wreck, you could have the tiki and other items that were being plundered/transported scattered about around the wreckage, or the tiki could be partially integrated into the coral reef as though it went overboard so long ago that the reef polyps have started to grow onto it as a continuation of the substrate. Hmm, I think my renewed interest in tikis and the extreme desire to make some Halloween-themed tiki carvings are starting to get to me...
Sounds like I'll be making some calls to trailer purveyors when the semester is over and I go back home. I really wouldn't have had a clue as to where to get bricks that size. Thanks again!
