So, missed out on the first day of a local estate sale (working on saturday is a pain during estate & yard sale season)
Picking through the remains I found
3 packs of staple gun staples marked 50c each,
4 tubes styrofoam adhesive - $1 each
two packs brad nails for staple gun - 50c each
large bag cable ties - $1
small oil drum (24" high, 12" dia) $3
As it was the second day of the sale everything was half the marked price, so this lot cost me $5
Thought this was a nice score![]()

My first thought is "radioactive".

I guess most such sales are "estate sales", but usually I have seen that terminology used for mostly sales where antique, very valuable furniture is being sold.
Think of the humor when the lawyer reports, "Your Aunt Edith's estate was worth in excess of $1.59!
Thank God she bought that box of staples 20 years ago as an investment!"
"You have me to thank for advising her to do that!" Says the Lawyer."My Insanity is well-respected, until they wiggle free and become a stringer for a tabloid"
