Thread: Free Halloween Cutouts

Okay, I've been on a couple of years now, and I've never seen this topic mentioned. Maybe I just missed it. But does anyone else do this? After Halloween is over I go into the stores with cardboard Halloween Decor and ask them if they are going to throw it away if I can have it. I have gotten a lot of rejections, but i get some sweet stuff this way. Shopko says NO! Target says no now, but one year I scored big. Yes, Yes, a lot of no's. But for one yes it is worth it. Here's some of the stuff I have gotten.

3 years ago [or around 2006] K-mart let me have quite a few candy corn colored background paper. That is what you're looking at here is the background paper. I also got a boy in a nightshirt and cap looking out the window with a lantern. But I haven't used him yet so I don't have a picture right off hand. He's really cool though.

After halloween this year I scored this and some big solid orange background paper at Wal-mart. Since I'm having a western theme this year, this was a sweet score.

Actually this past halloween from wal-mart I got the big green skeleton guy. I'll pull him out after work and take a picture. Some places (like walmart- wil sell them to you. Nothing is free anymore. Even though mine was. Hehe
