Thread: Nobody understands my love for Halloween!!!

Hey guys,
I was looking at a prop for sale that's pretty cheap. Normally over a hundred and I found it for 50! So I told my parents I would bid about 60 or 70 being a great deal if I won! but my parents did not like the idea and said im spending to much. I disagreed and realized if they only knew how good of a deal it was. The prop was stabbo normally 100 and i got it for 60. The next day my dad apologized and everything was fine. but that made me realize nobody understands the love for halloween we all have. My friends all say im stupid because halloween is a waste of time and money and that makes me angry. if you have anything to share please do so.

Lol I'm 14 and i'm happy you understand. I just wish my parent would be happy when I build something or buy something cool but instead they lecture me about spending to much or owning to much. Well I'm glad you understand

You couldnt possible understand or believe the amount of money i spend on halloween stuff. I say if it makes you happy and your not hurting anyone then get what you want. Every body on this planet spends money on stuff and it isnt wrong if it brings you hapiness. Personally i cant think of anything better to spend your money on than halloween. I think you are a pretty darn cool 14 year old.

Heh, it's just the opposite for me....my kids think I spend too much on Halloween.

Lol it's all good. People think I'm wierd because I like halloween. I'm not. Where I come from I'm considered normal. Don't let it get you down. It's halloween and it's awesome!

PS. That's also why this forum is so awesome. So many people think a like both young and old (no offense lol) we are eachothers support group as corney as that sounds.

Omg I totally understand. When it comes to decorating the house, it's totally up to me now. The rest of my family used to be into it but they've gotten lazy and just dont care anymore. I'll pester them about getting a pumpkin to carve and they just look at me and go "eh...i dont care if we dont have a pumpkin." I just want to faint!!! lol

One year, I was working like a lot in October and I wasn't able to find time to decorate the house. My parents and family didn't care so it never got done. I was so ashamed to have a naked house! :x
