I know what ya mean Witchypoo.
Honestly, I think I like that more than scaring people.
OK not really but it is a close second!

I like the idea of the bench - I think I will work that in this year. Otherwise, yes, my whole yard becomes a photo op. Everyone wants to take pics either with my witches or by my cemetery gates. I like the idea of a planned photo spot.

I did two years ago. I should do it again.... It was well-received. I took the big prop I had the previous year and had it off to the side. In this picture it was Terra Queen's throne. Perhaps this year, I should have Terra the Vampiress.

Hallow kevo!
It's a great idea! GO for it! WE will try it this year for the first time - but with a twist. We are going to let kiddies sit in our hearse seat - next to the skelly driver and hold the reigns this year! We will help the little ones step up to the seat - and they are given a little voo-doo doll as they step down. Parents can take the pic (with their own camera) for $5.00 - proceeds support The Saint Joseph Orphanage in Haiti.
We are also planning a "stick your head in" stockade photo place with a sign that that says "I'm just Hanging Out on Halloween"
Also -- On the island of Ocrakoke - in the NC Outer Banks - there is a Blackbeard shop with a full-size character cut-out of a pirate that you can stand behind and take a photo. It is really fun for all ages. I'll see if I have any old pics from when we went there a few years back and post them...
Or you can create your own:

hallorenescene -- You could have a "step inside" western jail cell for a photo op spot in your 2010 haunt! Wouldn't it be great to see kiddies behind bars with a skelly or two slumped in the corner and lots of cobwebs tickling their faces! BOO!
