watched a movie now I'm inspired to do a twisted fairy tale theme

I envision the following to be completed by 2015.

SnowWhite: The evil witch/queen gives snow white an apple with razor blades. Snow White has the apple in her mouth and blood is pouring out.

The 7 dwarfs are locked away in a mine (like the disney movie) but they are tourterd and have rats and spiders in there

Cinderella- Build an old fashiond hearse carrige (like the ones on this forum) it will have cinderellas body under it (like she was ran over) The people riding/driving could be the stepmother and step sisters. Inside a casket with the fairy god mother.

Hansle & Gretel- Have there bodys caged in trees- will use blucky skeletons for them dressed with tathered cloths and wigs. The witch will stand over a culdron melting rats and snakes.

The settings/back drops-

The main display will be the castle facade. It will cover the whole house. This will probably be made from coragated cardboard.

The back yard will have the mine for the 7 little men hopfully made from wood. Snowwhites cottege and the witch's cottege will be painted like the castle.


Any input/ideas would be cool. I would like to complete this by halloween 2015. I know it's five years away but we all know that's not a lot of time.

I really think you have some good ideas already. I would add Goldie Locks who has been mangled by a bear. Or are you going more with a disney theme?

Just going with fairy tales that could be dark. Goldie Locks being mangled by a bear sounds great. Maybe have her eyes in the pourage soup?

Sleeping Beauty passed out in a vat of needles like that one Saw movie, yuck! I could not watch that part.
