I stopped into our local Garden Ridge in Sterling Heights MI, to get a "bear rug" for our baby's room. My pregnant wife stayed in the car while I ran in. I couldn't find them so I figured they were sold out, but I asked anyway. While on the trip to the isle they were supposed to be in I saw that x-mas and halloween stuff was 90% off. Here I saw these flickering candles... 39 cents a piece. About 8" tall battery operated. I bought 48. Needless to say the wife wishes she would of went in the store with me Happy Halloween!

Don't you love finding surprise sales like that. Sounds like you are going to need a stockpile of batteries.

I was looking at some of the other posts where they have floating candles. I think that would look great with as many as you have.

bethene- thank you! I told my wife our little haunter could be involved as a zombie baby or something... she didn't like that idea... As for the batteries?? Yes they each take 2 AA, wife was not happy about that either, but it's for HALLOWEEN!!! Last year was my first haunt and we went with a gohst and cemetary theme. As for the candles I'm not really sure yet. I just knew it was a great deal. Could some of you pros give me any ideas? Thank you all in advanced!
