Another book I have come across Animatronics: Guide to Holiday Displays by Edwin Wise. Anyone have it or would recommend it? One I have been wondering about

We received two new books the other day. Ghoul Daddy ordered them from the www.TerrorSyndicate.com by Steve Hickman. He had been toying with the purchase for a couple of months, rather or not to buy; since no detailed info was to be found.

    He got "The Home Haunter's Prop Building Handbooks Vol.'s 1 & 2".
Very pleased with the information and instructions!! Easy to find supplies, even here on the island. No non-sense, no extra blowing smoke up authors butt, toot 'en one own horn crap inside! Just right in your tool box information.

Vol. 1 is my favorite for it has the basics: home built air pistons & rams, controllers, and of course monsters. Vol. 2 is equally as good. I like the detailed instruction for making the props in both volumes. We will use the base instructions for monster props but alter the final monster look to meet our haunt needs.

The Terror Syndicate also offers the books in DVD format too, for the non-book worms of the HF. . So... if your a beginner, never made a pneumatic prop before, I think these are a great source and start for anyone.
Early warning signs of head trauma.
