Lowes has just put their Christams stuff on sale today at 50% off. The 10 light strings of flicker bulbs are only $3.99 each. My store had 6 boxes left and I got them all. Rope light is $3.49.

Now's the time to pick up flood light holders and extension cords too! Also remote control outlets.

Lowes hasn't had these available in my area of SF Bay since I first saw someone post about them awhile back. I kept checking online and no luck. Even tried my parents area in another state, same story there.

Just figured I'd give a heads up to anyone living near Union City, CA however. According to my local Lowe's customer service person Union City is the only location that has any in this area. Great deal if you can get them. Just for the 10 bulbs alone it's a wonderful price.

While it seems like Lowes online offers a delivery option, the store said they don't ship UPS or anything like that (guess it's just freight truck delivery for bigger ticket items primarily), and that shipping charge was $80!!! Hope someone from here manages to pick some up.

well, I went to 4 lowes on the way home....actually found a couple boxes of purple lights...

It seems like most stores including Walmart and Target etc cut way back on the electric decorations this Christmas.

aww i HAVE to get some flood light holders! and more christmas lights for next year! lol

yep...grab it when it's 50% off because not much is going to make it to 75% ...especially lights.

I did find 4 40ft brown extension cords for under $3 a piece....thinking about going back and raiding them for all their 9 ft cords
