Hey haunters just courious as to what was the highlight of your Halloween night. For us at BoulderHaunt it was when the guest came up to the candy table. We had a table set up at the front door right before the steps. We had two people out of costume giving out the candy. One person was hiding under the table. As the guest would approch the table about half way up the walk way our actor crawled out from under the table.

It was great because it scared adults the most. We had people go back to there homes to get there other friends and relatives just to come see us. I really wish we would of recorded some of it. It was all last minute but it was sure worth it.
halloween is a super cool holiday.

We had a little graveyard with 3 foggers and about 40 ft of corrugated tube with holes running around it. Green floods on it, and strobes set at the slowest speed possible. It was a really good effect and when all the foggers where running looked awesome. I was in my wraith stalkabout and hid in the graveyard. The kids were about 30ft away and all I heard was "I hope that thang aint real". I jumped into action making pterodactyl sounds, and slowly walked over to them. Once they started running I chased them out of the block. If you can practice making sounds that are primal and aniamlistic, people can become very unnerved.

For me, it's got to be the drunk guy that panicked and tried to run through the brick wall....

my whole night was fantastic, i got lots of compliments, one lady wanted her son to come in and look. a lot of the kids thought my animated bats were real. but the best part of all were the 3 young men who showed up to help out. and they raved about how cute the haunt was.

and while i'm at it, i want to say this year turned out great because of all the help of my daughter. she busted but with me the whole month to accomplish this.

    thanks you guys

My great moment was having so many people taking pictures and videos of my props and being asked by two people to build stuff for them for thier yard and pro haunted hayride. It is nice when you get nice compliments on all your hard work, but i just do it because i love it so much.

    These are great stories!

It was such a blur, but I think having a couple of kids take the time to go home, switch out masks, and come back to TOT again was a definite highlight.

Two cases of guests experiencing involuntary flatulance and one case of pants-wetting by an unsuspecting parent were signs of success for me, despite the drizzle and rain on Halloween.

I guess having my friend dressed as a scarecrow almost give an old lady a heart attack.

Well mine almost got rained out, I actually performed a halloween wedding in the afternoon, and hit the haunt right when the rain stopped, we had a casualty because of the wind with one column, but after I did the finishing touches, there were no kids, so I took a walk up the road in my jason costume and messed with some of the local drunk adults I know that were partying, it was quite fun!

We didn't really have a "highlight" per se. We scared off most of the smaller kids simply by having freaky music at the end of the driveway and a foggy Graveyard. We want them to at least come up and collect treats, so we'll tone it down next year.

The very last group for the night, just before 10:00, consisted of a Chinese family with several kids and two adult females. My daughter, realizing that this was the last group, went overboard with the treats. The ladies ended up walking out with armloads of chips, candy bars and DVD's. I could see by their faces they were blown away.
