Hey fellow haunters,
some of you know I haven't been able to get on the forum. So sorry if this is a repeated topic. Im sure it is but im having trouble with the forum so I cant go back and view old post. Anyway just wanted to see how halloween night was for all of you. We did our first real big year and it was a hit. Over 300 tots and lots of adults. It felt so good.

Hi Rocks...Thought I hadn't seen you around for a while...
We had a great night here at the Manor. A record number of TOT's (close to 200) and some great comments.... I owe it's exceeding awesomeness to Halloweenforum without a doubt.
Glad yours went well...Got any pics to share??

So glad to hear you had a great night. I want to see pics too

I had over 300 and also had a great night! Most all of the new stuff I tried this year (DMX & Chromadepth) worked great and the kids loved it. Can't wait to top it this year

It didn't go as well as planned and we had much fewer TOT's, but I still had a pretty good time. Unfortunately, the pics didn't turn out this year, since CVS's photo machine apparently still wasn't fixed, even though they thought it was

Ours was pretty much a washout. Had blasted RAIN!
I'm looking forward to next year too!

Garthgoyle and DaveInTheGrave: so sorry things didn't go as well as they could have. Here's to hoping that Halloween 2010 goes significantly better!
Great to hear all these accounts of record TOT numbers! Congratulations all!
I spent Halloween traveling in southern California. While I didn't get to do too much with my costume and I didn't haunt, it was quite wonderful visiting Disneyland on the 30th and doing Knott's Scary Farm on the 31st. That's more like the Halloween I grew up with, so it was kind of like therapy for my usual extreme home-sickness for Southern California that spikes around Halloween. It was made even better by my Dad accompanying me, since he had never been to Knott's Halloween Haunt. It definitely wasn't my favorite year for the Halloween Haunt (some mazes were spectacular while quite a few were showing wear on the old props and sets), but it was still a fun time.

Halloween was real good this year at my place.
Eventhough I am Dead it is always warm inside my bed.

We got 200 inside the haunt. Same as last year. Fantastic weather, a huge moon in the sky. We did learn that we have to tone it down to entice the smaller kids up the Driveway. We lost a lot through sheer intimidation. Also, I won't be putting as much time and effort into it next year. A Game outside to determine who wins what (I'm thinking of a "Cookie Toss". Toss cookies onto a target to win either chips, a candy bar or a DVD) and an Optional Mad Scientist's Lab inside. It will be smaller, but still scary, still memorable. And I hope to get the littler TOT's involved.
