These lights aren't called purple led lights, but they sure look purple to me. They are a little lighter purple (not like a dark purple - Ace had darker purple this year, and I hated them!), but these are awesome. Where did I get them? They are from Target, and they are called Pink spherical lights. I'm going to use them for Halloween next year!!
This week (November 15 - 21), they are on sale for $9.50 instead of $12, and you get 60 of them. If you are interested, I would at least look at the display in the Christmas section at Target (At the Targets I've been to, they all have them on display.), and than see if you think that's a good purple color for you. I just can't find LED purple in stores.
On the flipside, I looked at Big Lots Pink, and they do look more pink than purple. First, I found Target Pink which looks like purple, and than I went to look at Big Lots because it's cheaper there, but I don't like that color pink at Big Lots because it doesn't look purple.

"Dollar Tree - The High Price to Pay for $1 Prices" China stuff, taking out other stores, around every corner - 136 in 100 miles, poor wages for employees. - I only say this because people say the same stuff about Wal-Mart, but than they go to Dollar Tree.

Phillips does make (dark) purple (& orange) led strings of lights.
I bought a set from Target a few years ago during Halloween season. They may just be a seasonal Fall item. It couldn't hurt to ask for the manager of the seasonal area, & find out. Some stores may still have some Halloween out. Couldn't hurt to call & ask about them.

I pick up 3 sets of the solar power ones in purple and orange for a few bucks a piece at target. Wish I would got more.....I'm got them on the roof line of my Gar shack now and they look great at night. Here's a tip I found 2 boxes moved to the x-mas section mixed in with the new ones and they still scanned at 90 % off.

I thought I was looking for purple LED lights at Target, but didn't see them. The only place I seen LED purple was Ace, but they were dark (like black light), and I didn't like them. Walgreens and Jewel (food market) had orange LED.
I guess why I wanted an LED purple is because I have a non-LED purple light set, and they are kind of dark, so getting LED purple would brighten it up a little bit."Dollar Tree - The High Price to Pay for $1 Prices" China stuff, taking out other stores, around every corner - 136 in 100 miles, poor wages for employees. - I only say this because people say the same stuff about Wal-Mart, but than they go to Dollar Tree.

I saw those lights at Target (in the Christmas section) called pink and thought they looked more purple, too. I didn't need any, but, if you do I'd check them out, they'd be great for a haunt.
