All was packed and stored last weekend. I only have my costume tubs yet to be stored in my closet.

I think I'm about 50% of the way packed up, but I had to go buy more totes to put stuff in. I too am trying to organize and get rid of a few things this year. So far, I think I've pulled 2 really small items that I'm willing to part with. LOL! I'm hoping I can get the rest packed up and put back in storage today. Um, tomorrow for sure. Okay, maybe Saturday.

HELP!! I am STILL buried in a post-apocalyptic party scene!! So nice to read I am not alone! I even took a few more pics of the mess and put em in a profile album -- just to prepare myself about this time next year - when I get to try and put away all the 50 - 90% off bargains I have been collecting since 11/01. Yikes - now where will all THAT go?

Awww - There's our favorite little guy under the branch -- sheepishly hiding. He knows just how we feel right now! Oh - gee - He looks like he needs a hug.
"It's ok little fella - you don't have to be scared anymore. Halloween is over and mommy will pack up all the mirrors so you won't have to look at yourself until next year!"
LOL - Just love how everyone seems to be waiting to get into your house! Hey - it's cold out here! Can't a ghoul get a cup a hot cocoa?!

Man am I glad I have patient neighbors. Because of our strong winds and limited front yard, we build the structure (two structures now) out of 2x4s. We start Labor Day weekend and despite taking 7 days of vacation during that time, we didn't get all the stuff set up.
Last week (right after Halloween) I was required to travel on business and was exhausted last weekend. We did work Sunday and took down about half of the props. This weekend we should make major progress in the dismantle.
From Sep thru mid Nov I always half expect a letter from the association telling me they have a complaint. 10 years of doing this and it seems the neighbors like the haunt enough to put up with all of this. We're lucky. Please check my 2011 Haunt album here on HF. http://www.halloweenforum.com/member...ween-2011.html
Thanks

Ah man that is a bummer! Someone at my party ended up getting it as well. Then I have been sick this week so I was a bit suspiscious if I may have gotten it, but seems to be more of a sinus infection. *cross fingers

Uhhh yeahhh... Who said anything about packing??
People who see the front of the house might accuse me of being Clark Griswold's 3rd cousin twice removed... But if you peek over the back fence, at the decorations by the patio... you will see this.

I am perfectly aware of what day it is. I just finished rendering beef suet, so that I can accomplish making pie crust.. and I am curing my own ham and bacon, so that I can bacon wrap at least a couple of items in the Thanksgiving spread.
