There are things on the staircase and things unpacked on the third floor. I'm trying to inventory this year, so it's slow going. We still dine every night with my five foot tall grim reaper.

Everything that gets stored in the shed [crypt facades, tombstones, scarecrow, spot lights, etc.] was put away Nov 1st; all the stuff I store under the stairs finally got boxed two days ago and is stacked in a corner of the family room annoying my wife. I just got the prop building stuff [scrap or left over foam, paint, hot glue sticks, etc.] organized and put away this afternoon, also to my wife's great annoyance. She's given up fighting to get the gargoyles off the bookshelves so they are now permanent decorations all year round.

We just took our first load to storage yesterday. The coffins, facade walls, witch, organ and other large items. We still have six large boxes to take to storage as well but we'll use the car for that instead of the trailer. On top of that, we have 4 or 5 boxes that will stay here and need to be taken to the attic yet.
We really need to get it done this weekend though cause the foreman of the contruction crew who will be renovating the houses in our neighbor just visited and he wants to start with our house on tuesday!

I'm still trying to decide what to part with. Too much stuff. I packed some bluckies in a bin today--that's a start! Everything is strewn all over the house, on my front porch, my inside is still all decorated. Most of the bins went back up into the attic filled with normal everyday living stuff that got taken down. So I'm procrastinating going up into the attic to get those bins because they are full of stuff. I was full of energy during the excitement of getting ready for Halloween, but there's never that same energy level when it comes to putting it away!

All of my inside decorations are packed away and waiting to be taken to the basement and stored. However all of my after Halloween deals are still sitting in a corner in the living room in plastic bags. And all of the walls and plastic from our haunt is down and stored away but all of the props are still strew about the garage needing to be sorted and put in boxes. We have already bought 3 more storage tubs this year and it is looking like we will need a few more.

Sorting & orgainizing still - need to be ruthless and just get rid of some stuff, but having a hard time parting with it. A big motivator to at least get it put away is that we're hosting his family for Thanksgiving. Really need to reduce what I have too though. Ahhh, the trials of being a pack rat...

All was repaired, paint touch ups, and dried out last weekend and everything went into our storage yesterday. Although I did find a lone bucky skull that escaped packing and the solitude of storage. He is now perched on my workbench to provide oversight on next seasons builds!
