Well, I joined the forum in February, I spent Spring Break making Polymer Clay ghouls and Jack-o-lantern jewelry, like Halloween Night my stereo is perennially haunted, and I've been working on what will be my 2010 costume since late July, so....
Yes, I'm a proud Halloween junkie, and I agree with the previous responses. I gushed over how fabulous this forum and its army of members are when I first joined, and my opinion hasn't changed. If anything, as I've stayed on here, I've been more and more impressed with the imagination and downright brilliance of its members (many of whom sell themselves short), and I can only imagine how crazy I'll get making some of the big props once I live in a place that isn't a dorm or apartment, and when I don't have to move every year. It has become a source of inspiration when I'm running a little low, and it has provided a chance to interact, limited as anything online is, with many lovely people. I have to also admit that it is nice to have other folks to talk to about Halloween year-round rather than gradually annoying the heck out of friends or much of my family. Most of the people in my life at least like Halloween, but I still manage to be the hyper-obsessed one .

It is impressive that you were able to build any props in a dorm room and do any halloween decorating while in College.

It will be great to see the big props you will be able to build soon.

But when you buy your first house don't forget you need a workshop, lots of storage and at least a 2 car garage.....

I'm fairly new this forum and am SO glad that I found it. I am a huge Halloween junkie, and let me tell you, it feels good to have found a place where I can meet like minded people. The first day I was perusing on here all I could think was "I'm not the only one!!!"

Don't get me wrong, my Husband is also a Halloween junkie, but he's not quite as into it as I am. Although, after seeing this site and seeing what some of the peeps here have built...he's all ramped up to start working on something for next year. You guys have rubbed off

this is one of three Halloween forums I come to, this is my go to forum for props and technical information, of the three I go to this is the only one with a real props forum and how to area, the other two forums I go to are great for chatting and general information, so for me, it's the talent of the props and how to people.

I'm here because I love Halloween... and I have a wee bit of an internet addiction.

I usually do less browsing here from December - March or so, but I pop on here pretty often considering.

    He just watches TV?!

That's it, I'm driving through multiple states to steal you away to the Northwest where you can teach me all that you know and help me turn my garage into a prop room as wickedly fantastic as yours!!!

I found this forum, well, back in March according to my "join date". I have learned so much in this past year and I think my haunt has greatly improved because of this forum. I love the people and the projects. The attention to detail and the props and tutorials are fantastic!

Good people, good topic, good fun.
