Hello all.
Thought you guys might like to see some pictures I took from my Halloween display in my atrium at my home for Halloween.
Additional information notes:
Every single prop / item seen in the photos was either built by me and my wife or purchase and modified (repainted, re-detailed, etc). Nothing was bought off the shelf and put right into our Halloween display ... where would be the fun in that.
The skulls on the "pirate skeletons" are computer controlled through a MIDI cable so as to be programmed and operated to work in sync with the selected audio track, which was a 12 minute compilation from the Disney Pirates of the Caribbean RIDE audio CD.
The lighted pumpkins were all repainted and were connected to a "Light-O-Rama" system ... the same system that controls elaborate Christmas light displays. These were programmed to light up and sing to Disney's Grimm Grinning Ghosts from the Disney Haunted Mansion RIDE cd. Kids in our neighborhood loved the whole setup and would stay to watch the entire show.
Unfortunately not all of our neighbors share the same Halloween spirit, so most of the houses on our street were undecorated or just plain DARK which meant our turnout for visitors was pretty low ... but we still had a great time making all of these things regardless.
Because users are limited to only upload 5 photos at a time - I put them on my server.
If you have any question about how any of this items were made / done ... please feel free to email me.
I will be posting a link to a video of the whole setup soon.
Hope you enjoy the photos.

Excellent work. Reminds me I need a TON more pumkins for next year.

Most of the pumpkins we bought at Target, Walmart, and a couple other places the day after halloween last year. We got them for anything from $1 - $4 each. They were in storage for a year and it wasn't until I discovered the "Light-O-Rama" system did I have any idea what we were going to do with them except just plug them in.

I did something similar last year but didn't scarf up as many as I should. To spread mine out I replaced the lamps with velcro attached tea lights. Those I placed near cords or outlets I replaced the bulbs with the flame flicker type. But still I have so much front yard it's hard to keep things from looking too small without a million of them and other things around.

That's one of the nicest displays I've seen! Remarkable detail. How nice to be able to set it up indoors in the atrium. Was it accessible to TOT's or for a party?
