I just checked out the Christmas forum.......oh no another count down!!!!!!!!! Looks like I have to join, as I do go all out for Christmas to.

Oh my. I'm not for sure how to respond to that.

Christmas decorations don't have to be corny, i've seen some nice black trees, or what about a winter theme. My house just looks too bald without its halloween decorations, and my kids like xmas.

I'm trying to convince the wife to do a spooky Christmas but she wants no part of that, im like oh come on we can decorate the tree with ghosts and skeletons and cool spiders and dead snow men and Santa hanging from a rope, shes does find it funny, arrgghhh i cant win some times... maybe one day it will happen

Do you have a man cave.... if you do... no one is stopping you from decorating it

My friend is a mini martha stewart and she does a man themed mini tree for her husbands home office every year
She has done several tress including a:
poker theme: she hung up playing cards, and poker chips
golf theme: she hung up golf tees and golf balls
Alcohol themed: she bought mini alcohol bottles and hung them up
Sports themed: she decorated in the favorite colors of her husband's team

well, at least I have an excuse!
My wife saw what I did with halloween and is forcing me to do xmas. She can be horribly cruel sometimes..... *g-snivel* *g-g-g-g-waaaaaaaahhhhhhh*

My husband is a Christmas fanatic who sings christmas carols in my sleep to brainwash me.

It is like the manchurian candidate but instead of killing people, I purchase Christmas decorations

*shrug* I'm already prepping for the holidays, however I'm thinking about making a few snow covered Jacks for the floor by my tree... lol

I got a catalog today with professional xmas lighting... and my usually VERY conservative wife was finding stuff that she liked and decided we need this year.
