We got our first young one about 4:45 and shut down the candy at about 10:15. There are several hours through out the night where we have 2 & 3 people passing out candy at the same time. The side walk up to the house is 5 ft. wide. Most of the neighbors just sit down on their driveway at the sidewalk.
It's crazy and a ton of fun!

That's amazing! I can't even imagine that. You must have had very little sit down time.

We had a pitiful 26 TOTs, and that's counting two parents who I gave candy to,
a mom who said "Trick or treat"with her kids and a dad in costume.

On a brighter note, I have a graveyard and decorate on the creepy side. I was sitting on the porch, and I heard a little girl about nine years old with her parents out by the street say, "I'm not going up there." They talked her in to coming up to my porch. I guess I can take that as a compliment.
Abandon hope all ye who enter here.

We had approx. 75-100 people come through the haunt when there are no actors in it. We call it no scare time, then we let the monsters in and got about another 200 people.
We do a walk-thru haunt with candy in the last room, we let people go through more than once so it's tough to keep track.

We didn't have a chance to keep a count this year. Our first tot was around 11AM and people came by, even in the rain through 11PM.

We figured about 500 toters by the amount of candy we had left over.

We also guess betwen 800-900 people visited in total. Our driveway was crowded from about 6-9PM (thanks to the rain starting at 9) and the sidewalk was 2-3 deep for most of the night.

We did make the loacl newspaper this year, so it is hard to tell whether the numbers were up due to Saturday or the exposure. I did hear a few comments saying that the house was definitely better in person than the picture they saw in the paper. That was good to hear.
