Yeah... but as they say (or kinda say) ..... the easiest way to get over one holiday is to get under another......
My husband loves Christmas so I am trying to get the Christmas Spirit but I am not the Christmas type

After Highschool...he will come home for Halloween with College Friends/ Work Friends
After College... he will come home for Halloween with girlfriends and then a wife
And eventually he will come home for Halloween with his kids.
You will never lose your son ... you will just gain an additional 100 or so guests for your Halloween parities

Time to move on! H'ween '09 is in the history books. I'm glad to see it packed away as we get ready for the winter season and related activities. It will be fun to get it all out again next fall and you can look forward to making new things. It will be here before you know it!

I always get blue once Halloween passes. I could honestly live with that feeling all year. As was said earlier, on to Christmas. My kids are already salivating at all the toy commercials that have suddenly taken over the tv!!
As I was going up the stair, I saw a man that wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today...Oh how I wish he'd go away.

Not depressed...Just exhausted.
Already thinking of next year, our theme and areas in which we can improve.
Halloween is too good to just pack up in a box until next year!

well said Baron Samedi!!!! As exhausted as I am and my knee reminding me that I am 55 I am sad that it is all over after eating, breathing, and sleeping Halloween these past few months. I will transition to my next favorite Holiday Christmas.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before
