We get about 110 kids here where I live.

I give to all who come to my door, whether they are children, teens, adults, elderly, costumes or no costumes. I'm just happy to share my joy of Halloween with all who come to my house.

One thing I do insist on though, even with the 'cool' teens. Some come and hold their bags open without saying anything and I will stand in my door after saying hello and wait. Eventually there is a moment of uncomfortable silence because I think they may think I'm a crazy lady then I will ask them if they have anything to say. I get the, 'Oh, trick or treat'. I always want to hear that.

I'm just a bit old fashioned I guess.
As I was going up the stair, I saw a man that wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today...Oh how I wish he'd go away.

We had at least 100 this year compared to only about 70-75 last year. Got some great comments from parents saying they remembered us from last year and came back specifically to see us again this year. That was pretty cool.

we got about 150 to 200 kids. it was our first time handing out candy here. made 50 treat bags and around 7:00 thought we'd have half left over ... but then we got slammed from 7:30 to 9:00pm and went through our back up candy plus an extra 3 bags my mom nicely brought over to our place. at 9:00pm not a soul was seen on the street, was wether weird. we handed out to everyone who came by, I don't think we had many repeats if any, all were with their parents and all said "trick or treat" or "thank you" after getting their candy .. however some of the younger TOT's were scared of Josh's costume (he was a dark wizard) and would only take candy from me (I was Michael Jackson).

unsure of how many children we had. We were handing out glow sticks. We had 140 or so, but like 34 of them were stolen and we lost count :-/ I know i handed out over 88 sticks on Halloween night for sure myself.

I've mentioned this before elsewhere, but the good news is i broke last year's record, the bad news is, only by 3! We had 31 last year, and 34 this year...

I'm at that awkward stage in life... Somewhere between 'Annoying Fanboy' ...and 'Dirty Old Man'...
