Hey Guys,
Well this year went FANTASTIC! We got everything setup fine and it looked great! All day whilst we were setting up, we hard cars stopping all the time to look. We did a video (below) but due to my wife and I being 'actors' in it, we didn't actually get any video of ToT'ers due to being too busy.
We had so many ToT'ers that we were constantly working from about 5pm til 9pm before we shut it down. We have the local newpaper turn up, and even the police stopped and congratulated us! We had people telling us that they had literally driven miles to come see it! I've never seen so many people before.. literally had crowds round it all night and constant camera flashes etc. Awesome!
I'm afraid the video doesn't do it justice, but we had a fantastic time, and all the months of hard work and planning were worth it.

Great set up and FX Marc. Very impressive.
We also had a fantastic night...nearly 200 TOT's and queues back up the street.
It's nice to see the Halloween spirit is around here in the UK, and it's set ups like yours that help to foster it.
Congratulations on a great job well done!

Hi There,
Thanks for the compliments
The upstairs ghost is the standard "Flying Crank Ghost". If you put that in google, you'll be able to find tutorials etc on making one. It was great fin to make and was by far the most popular prop.. everyone loved it!
The Hallowindows animation is just that, I bought it from Mark in the US (the guy or makes them) and had it shipped here... arrived quickly and was spot on

3 decorated houses in the same street? Wow! Theyre going to have to rename Wordsley "Halloweentown UK"!!

Seriously, that is pretty good going for over here.
There's a couple at the end of the road where I live who put a bit of webbing on their hedges out front, a couple of pumpkins on the porch and the Lady dresses as a witch.
Apart from that, you're lucky to see anything apart from the odd pumpkin or two.
Mustn't complain though...A few years ago you wouldn't have even seen that.
We're getting there guys...Slowly, but we're getting there!
