Last year we put in a concrete patio. It's on a slope, and the last step down to yard level ended up being about four inches too tall. We had to lay in several cubic yards of dirt to raise the grade level of that last step and even out the slope into the yard.
My wife suggests that as long as that dirt is going in, and we have to re-do the whole lawn anyway, why not do it in October, and do the natural thing with the dirt before spreading it out evenly?
I have the best wife in the world.
Anyway, it looked like this:
the dirt pile in the front of the house.
One wheelbarrow full is just about right for a grave.
bunches of them are even better.
at night...
