Well, the big day has come and gone. We battled mightily with the rain and wind this year, but won out in the end. I was very frustrated with all of the rain and extreme winds this year, but it all cleared up by Friday night. This Saturday actually turned out to be one of the best nights ever! No rain, zero clouds, a full moon, and the perfect temperature. I was amazed it turned out this well.
Here are a few pictures of our big night!

Well I'll say this for you Jaybo, when you go, you certainly go all out!

I'm at that awkward stage in life... Somewhere between 'Annoying Fanboy' ...and 'Dirty Old Man'...

I'm really digging your haunt. It looks so awesome. And I'm extremely envious of your picture taking skills. I really need a tripod!

Buy the tripod! It makes all of the difference! When taking dimly lit night shots you want to leave the shutter open as long as possible and use the timer on your camera. Even the act of you pushing the button on the camera can cause the camera to shake and blur your picture. I've taken all of these pictures with an older Canon Powershot digital camera that I got for a steal off of Craigslist.
Thanks for the compliments everyone! This was the best year for us so far. Dixie and I are still grinning from ear to ear! So many wonderful people came by to visit us! We ran our neighborhood out of candy!

Wicked cool!!! I love the whole ambiance...it's difficult to pull off that truely creepy look. You ROCK!
No one can hear you scream . . . in the night . . . in the dark.
