i am so tired of hearing of the h1n1 flu , the media and governement seemed to have litteraly paniced the population with it , and to get vaccinated .....

someone during the evening told me they heared on a tv show or radio show that it was a bad idea to take the kids trick or treating because of the h1n1 and if people wore scared of getting it to not open the door to people and kids...geez come on people .....

fashionbow let us all know if you contracted the h1n1 virus after having about 3500 people visiting your haunt this year hehehe

those poor kids that missed halloween because of that very sad indeed....

No one of sound medical mind can figure out the hype with this years flu. Instead of just calling it flu season, like normal, it has a name and the deaths are reported unlike most years where 20,000 to 40,000 die a year of flu. Why the sudden "scare" this year? Money and distraction.

I honestly think that darn flu had an effect on my lack of ToT's. I have a giant cauldron that I filled with candy and last year it was empty. This year it still looks full. And my yard display was great! I was very sad. This Halloween was a BUST this year!

We had apple bobbing at our party and one mother told her two kids not participate because they might get swine flu. A couple of days later, we found out that her daughter ended up with swine flu likely through someone in school.

Government distracting the "zombies" from seeing what they are doing and how they are wasting our money.

You're lucky she didn't let her kids bob for apples or you all could have ended up with it! Especially since the symptoms don't show up right away. Personally, I find bobbing for apples disgusting anyway. Slobber, hair, face oil, eyelashes, snot, etc. UGH!
