I wanted to share a feeling I am having today. Does anyone else feel like they are starting the year over. I know most people judge the year by New Years Eve/Day... but not me. My year kind of revolves around Halloween and I find myself wondering today...
I wonder what the upcoming year will bring before next Halloween...
Anyone like me out there.

Here here! Yes indeed. Sad that it's come and gone, but already thinking about the next one.

I do, but then again, I'm pagan and Samhain actually is the new year.

I was having that very same feeling today as I was handing out to my TOTs. A little sad, but also satisfied; my party rocked last night! Time for a season of rest!

depression sets in as we pull the empty boxes from the attic...
already planning ideas for 2010.
we work all month long to prepare for this event.
now we wait till next year.2011 will be our 8th year and After having several outrageous Halloween Parties, we know that we will never get an invite to anyone else's party. So we keep throwing our own!

You're not alone, Pumpkinman. Halloween is the ONLY holiday I celebrate. I always hate November 1, because you have to accept that your most cherished time is over for 365 days. I could care less about New Years. It only means changing the year when you write. But I gauge & measure everything by Halloween. I bet many of you are feeling somewhat depressed now. I know I am. I had a wonderful Halloween. But it's always, always sad on November 1.

I couldn't agree more! As a matter of fact, last night, as the evening came to a close, my fiance and I were talking about how sad it was and have agreed that we should have a couple of spooky costume parties throughout the year to help get through the depression of waiting 365 days until next Halloween.
