the house im in now has a HUGE garden spot with another large lot going up the hill behind us... im seriously thinking of just doing a huge corn maze... half the garden in corn, plus the other side of the fence going up the hill... as long as i can get water up there....
thoughts for next year yet??

coffee4106, decorating your lot sounds intimidating. However I love your ideas.
We are talking about a couple of themes.
1) Haunted 40's/50's loosely based on the game Bioshock
2) Haunted Luau
3) A Morgue/ Undertaker themeDarkness has a hunger that's insatiable

We're keeping the hospital theme. We put too much into it this year to change it.
I LOVE the pirate theme. Every single pirate haunt I've seen has turned out awesome.

My plan for next year is basically a bigger and better version of this year. I got a lot done, but not nearly everything that I wanted, and my haunt suffered from admittedly poor planning on my part. Basically, too many things needing to be plugged in, and not nearly enough plugs and extension cords. It required some major finagling and as result everything was much too close together, all kind of grouped around the front door.
The theremin went off well enough, but hopefully with a full year to practice I'll be able to make some actual spooky-cool music instead of just ambient noises.

a maze would be tiring... ill admit since its just me that does it...(single mom)... would be so fun though... ... seriously thinking yes... i need more skeletons.. i need more people.. i should marry a halloween freak... HAHAH
