We had absolutely PERFECT weather today and it continued into the evening. I had candy prepared for 300 and ran out, so we gathered up everything wrapped we could find - snack crackers, hershey's kisses, you name it! By the time it all came to an end we had easily served over 400 ToT'ers. TONS of compliments on our setup. So many thought our witches were real! Lots of people taking pics with my graveyard and caretaker. Fog chiller worked like a charm.
No negatives to report - it was as close to a perfect Halloween as we've ever had!

I've never seen such a swing of good and bad on one night. Some had it great, many had it horrible. Truly a weird weather day and night. Glad you had it good! Lucky, lucky you!

Wow..400! Now that is awesome!! I wish we had 1/2 that many. I think we might have had 100 or so, give or take 25. We had a lot of little kids. Sadly while I was putting my make up on, I missed a lot of kids!! Dang if I waited till today to try to put up a projector on a screen and the stupid video I put together was 65GB in size, took 4 hours to copy from my one machine to my laptop so I could play it. I finally get it ready around 8pm, and the stupid thing had ran out of disk space, so it wouldn't open!! UGH!! Next year, if we are around, I'll be better prepared.
I borrowed a friends fog machine, bought 20lbs of dry ice, packed it in a 5 foot tube + 12 foot of drain pipe, worked pretty good on and off. I bought the Froggy's Freezin juice. I gotta say, while the wind... which I couldn't even feel, often was blowing my fog away from my graveyard scene, the funny thing is, I ended up fogging most of the street. That Froggy's stuff lasted a looooong time! I didn't have the fogger on too high either, just a low cycle to avoid reheats and it kept going for quite a few hours. A few times I turned it up to try to combat the wind, looked away and dang if I had completely fogged my walk way and steps, so I was a little worried some kids might get hurt tripping. It did look pretty good a few times tho.
Only thing I am bummed about is that it ended around 8:15 or so.. on a Saturday! We have a lot of young kids, so I guess I can see why, and the older kids are probably at parties or what not. Actually I am bummed that I did not get one kid to cry!! Not one!! Scared a few tho.

WOW that's crazy. I think I'd go nuts with that many ToTers.
