I was all depressed because my husband was having issues getting the motor to work right for my monster in a box. However it ended up being the best prop of the night. After my kids were done trick or treating with my brother, I put my 5 year old daughter in it. She had so much fun popping up and screaming when kids would come to the table for candy. She scared the crap out of kids and their parents. She had to take a break when she started to get hoarse.

What a fun gig for her, and a person can always improvise and deliver the unexpected like no prop.

That's great - you may have a little haunter on your hands now that she's gotten a taste for it!
