Thread: Its gonna rain ,but......

So its gonna rain here in western Mass today. Thats ok Im gonna go on as planned. If it was snowing on Christmas I would still go to my families house and swap presents and have dinner. If it was raining at my momorial day picnic I would move the grill under one of the tents and cook there.So I wont let rain srop me today ....I will still fire up the fog machine and put out the strobes..Im still gonna get dressed up and Im still gonna give out candy.The only catch to my optomistic plans is .....will there be aby visitors to my house tonight . If not I will drink alot of coors light and take a lot of pictures and spend the next day or two making videos to post on here so at least someone gets to see the set up..Im trying to stay positive so good luck to everyone tonight and have a great holiday.

P>S> not to mention its my B-Day, so nothings gonna bring me down (except for the 40 mile per hour winds there forcasting)

I'm with you ooggieman! Full steam ahead! We've had a misty rain here in SE PA since last night and it is supposed to clear up soon but the forecast for 6pm tonight has some more of it returning. I figure if I have a motor burn out from the rain I'll just replace it, if prop gets wet I'll dry it. Good luck tonight.

Happy Birthday!!!! I feel the same way....the candy's ready the yard's almost complete and my costume is waiting (along with my jack and coke!) Woohoo! Bring on the halloween even if it does rain!

Thank you for the B-Day wishes and the encouragment............Man is it windy here .......I keep checking the local website hoping things will change with the forcast ....Ive got a shot of it holding of (Im a metiorologist in my mind)......I kinda feel bad wishing it to hold back cause its gonna stay with alot of you guys ..but hey its a guilt Im willing to live with ...ha ha.........

Its 3:10 PM.......no rain yet.........its very windy ......everything is out side ..............Im checking the radar ......Im think I might be ok ......the showers look like there going to maybe going to take a little longer to get here..............Im also lying to myself .............ha ha ha

Rain is on the way, unfortunately. I live a couple hours west of you & the rain looks like it's starting to head out of here. Looks like I have about another hour & then it's east of me.

I've been out in the showers all day setting things up. It is very windy here in central NY state been blowin between 10 and 30MPH here all day. I've been chasing stuff around the neighborhood all day.


Good luck tonight. I hope the rain holds off for everyone tonight.

ya I saw that small patch of showers .looks like there breaking up so I hope I dont see them ......you can keep them ha ha ha
